Please find below the document produced by the Circuit Leadership Team (CLT) – “What is to be Done?”, which considers the future of Lincoln Methodist Circuit.
There are two versions of the document, the full version and an abridged version, for you to print out and distribute to your congregation, or you may email it out as you see fit.
Every Church also has a printed version posted to ensure it is available to as many people as possible.
The statistics have also been presented in a graphical form for ease of analysis.
On November 27th there will be a meeting at Moorland Park Methodist Church (see timeline, Appendix A, both documents). Prior to this it is for discussion within Churches, and while I cannot answer any questions personally, if you do have questions or thoughts that you would like addressing at that meeting you are welcome to send them to me and I will pass them on to the CLT, but there will also be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions at the meeting.

As part of Methodist advice on best practice for lay employees, including admin workers, it is recommended that each employee has a management group with whom they meet on a regular basis for support.
The SAVES (supporting volunteers and employees) subgroup of the circuit is recommending that one group covers both admin workers to ensure consistency in approach.
We need a minimum of 3 people to be on the group.
Please see attached terms of reference and role outline.
Please circulate to your church members and if anyone is interested or wants to know more ask them to contact Rev Melanie Greenall or Miss Eleanor Downie, joint leads, SAVES
