The Circuit Leadership Team is urgently seeking to appoint a Circuit Treasurer and additional Circuit Stewards. We are asking that members consider prayerfully whether they could offer to join the existing circuit stewards and take on one of these roles, which are outlined in the attached documents.
If you, or anyone you know of, is interested in either role, please contact one of the current Circuit Stewards who will be able to answer any questions and chat through the requirements in more detail.

The Circuit is seeking a Manse Steward for one of the circuit manses.
You will be part of a team of Manse Stewards who’s role is to ensure that the circuit properties provided for the Circuit ministers and their families are well maintained and meet their accommodation needs.
For full details of the role please see the attached role outline. (If you are a home owner with experience of ensuring that your own property is well maintained then you have all the skills necessary for this role).
If you feel this is a role you could undertake or know someone who may be interested please let Sheila Downie, Circuit Steward with lay lead for property know. 01522 539380 or Sheilad577@btinternet.com. If you would like a chat to understand more about the role then again contact Sheila.
As part of Methodist advice on best practice for lay employees, including admin workers, it is recommended that each employee has a management group with whom they meet on a regular basis for support.
The SAVES (supporting volunteers and employees) subgroup of the circuit is recommending that one group covers both admin workers to ensure consistency in approach.
We need a minimum of 3 people to be on the group.
Please see attached terms of reference and role outline.
Please circulate to your church members and if anyone is interested or wants to know more ask them to contact Rev Melanie Greenall or Miss Eleanor Downie, joint leads, SAVES
