Christian Aid Circuit Rep Required – Aug 2016

Christian Aid is one of the five largest international development organisations in the UK and works in almost 50 countries around the world. For 70 years Christian Aid has been transforming communities and changing the lives of individuals who were previously trapped in poverty. We believe in life before death, that everyone is made equal in the image of God and should be able to live life to the full.

Christian Aid is looking for a Circuit Rep who could help to bring a new vision and inspiration amongst the circuit churches in their fundraising, campaigning and praying for Christian Aids work. We would love the Rep to encourage all the churches to raise money during Christian Aid Week in May. We would also love the rep to encourage churches to use our worship resources, to engage in campaigns and to become more aware of our work all year round.

The rep would also become part of the Lincoln Christian Aid Committee and participate in the 2 or 3 meetings each year to plan Christian Aid Week throughout the city and surrounding towns and villages.

The rep would receive ongoing support from the local Christian Aid office and from the Regional Coordinator Nick Thorley. We would be keen to encourage and support all your efforts and provide any help, guidance or training that you might require.
